Hi, I'm Karlee J.

I am a portrait photographer and I specialize in Maternity and Posed Newborn Photography. I have been a photographer for over nine years. I enjoy learning and seeking additional training and education to improve my craft.

I love empowering women during their maternity sessions. I mean, we actually have the ability to create life; let's celebrate that and document it! It's hard to top a maternity session, but newborn sessions are my absolute fave. I'm very comfortable working with newborns as early as 5 days old. I understand their cues and patiently let them run the session. If baby wants a milk break, we take a milk break. If baby wants extra snuggles in between poses, no problem.

My style falls somewhere between minimalist and fine art. For most newborns, I touch up the skin but prefer to keep the colors true to tone for a traditional look. For maternity and family photos, I tend to desaturate and warm up the tones in my images to achieve a modern look.
